180 Degree Rule Presentation

This is a presentation explaining the 180 degree rule, it also has a video that show's you a wrong way to do the 180 degree rule and a right way.
As the writing is hard to read on the explanation of what the 180 degree rule is, here is the explanation here:
  • In a shot with two people. They should always have the same left/right relationship.
  • This can be done as long as the camera stays on the right side of them.
  • If the camera changes the left/right relationship, it must be shown on screen, this meaning you should see the camera move around them, rather cutting then the camera being on the other side of them. Then one the camera changes side it should stay on that side.
  • They should maintain the same left/right relationship as it is more natural for the viewer.
